A Faery Kiss to Welcome You!

Welcome to Faery Dust...my little blog about all things fairy. Here I will collect fairy folklore, interesting links, and my own ramblings about fairy decks. I am excited about my new series of stories called The Rhiannon Academy of Fairies, which is free on my author blog. I hope you will check them out. So enter my Fairy-realm, relax a bit and sip some Fairy Tea, and may all your dreams and wishes come true!

Cute Faery Things

Isn't this the cutest crown for the Queen of the Winter Faeries! You can find details to make it at Disney Family.

These are super cute and so faery-ish. You could use them as cake stands but they would be equally cute with a little faery garden sitting on top. Details for making them at Homedit.

You can also make sweet little fairy houses to use as Christmas ornaments using toilet paper rolls.

And how about using this fairy table idea from Confetti Couture.

Fairy parties aren't just for little girls! One year I hosted a Faery Fete Brunch with lots of faery things and French food!

Christmas Faeries

Everyone's heard of Christmas Elves but how about Christmas Faeries?

They twinkle about so fast…no one has ever seen more than a flash of sparkle…but they exist.
The Magic of Christmas Fairies is your gateway to a fun new family tradition that can carry the magic of Christmas throughout the year. The Christmas Fairies stories are designed to be read aloud and weave the tales of five fairies: Snowflake, Snow, Merry, Holly, and Twinkle, along with a few other Christmas friends.

Meet the Christmas Fairies: There are thousands of Christmas Fairies but here are the main ones that you will grow to know and love. Each has her own distinct personality,

Snowflake: Is one of the leaders of the group. She is fast, funny, and has a snappy imagination. She is very adventurous and has traveled around the world multiple times. She is friendly and forgiving but she doesn't let anyone walk all over her.

Star: She is Snowflakes best friend, although they do have falling outs here and there. She is a little snappy and not always as agreeable as her friends would like. But she has a heart of gold and will fight for her friends until the very end.

Merry:...... is just that....merry...and a bit naive, she has only traveled around a bit, preferring to stay in Fairy Forest at the North Pole. Her friends are encouraging her to get out more. She is quiet and shy and doesn't like conflict at all.

Holly: Is good friends with Merry. She comes from a long lost fairy family and so feels a bit out of place in the fairy world right now. She loves being part of the group but prefers not to be the leader. She often has a hard time making decisions and is easily led astray.

Twinkle: Is a super fast fairy as her name implies and has won the Fairy Flicker Festival Races three years in a row. She is very brave and seldom backs down from a confrontation. But she is also very fair minded and doesn't go looking for trouble.

I'll be back next week to share more about The Christmas Tree faery!
